Hi
ive just got this bike in bits
and put it back together
but it runs badly
at 30 to 40 miles hour it ok
but after that it vibration starts
i can not find the main bearing and big end journel code
so can not change them
i can buy them but dont know what colour to buy
and i put a new balance chain and cam chain in the bike
but the balance chain broke
i was not on it when it did that
i and i did not have another one so i had a one from a 250n
but will that make and differt to the bike
let hope i can get this thing runing

lol, the 250 is the same, so no dramas there,

go onto here
and locate the parts you need, your terminology is slightly confusing.
copy the image (right click, save image location) and then paste it in to a message with the number, and we'll see if we can send you some where to find the parts Thumbs Up

the conn rod and the conn rod bearing,
you should be able to get them from https://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk
if you cant find the parts online from them, give them a call,
as for the colour code, i couldnt tell ya,
thats beyond anything i ever did on the cb400

ok ive been there davidsilverspares.co.uk
but there say honda has stop making them now
i had a mate over to look at it and he said
it sounds like
Worn cylinder bores (piston slap)
so going to take apart again and take them to the bike shop to see if it is that
