I have a 89 gs 500 e and recognising the newer models are almost identical i wondered how practical it would be to fit one of the gs 500 faired fairings onto a naked bike, i mean, is it possible, where would the fairing attatch, or would i need to improvise something?

you'd have to get brakets, and the non faired doesnt have holes in certain places, plus the faired bike has an oil cooler as well, because you are hiding the aircooled motor behind a big chuck of plastic.
ask on www.gs500.co.uk
or www.gstwins.com
both are good active sites, the us one i beleive has a write up on it somewhere in the forum Thumbs Up
