right, ive got a stock can, and some sort of ART race can.

ive noticed i get a bit more bottom end power with the stock, and the bike idles better when cold.

im guessing the reason this is the case because the person before me decided not to rejet the carbs to suit.

thing is, id settle for the stock if it didnt sound like a spaceship... its just too quiet! apart from it being safer with a louder one, i like the noise! plus backfires are awesome on it.

this is the can in question

what would y'all suggest i do with the jetting? i want to keep the ART can on it, but i want to jet it accordingly. size suggestions?

cheers jet queers xxx

bugger... thats where it starts getting expensive right?
isnt it like £30 per hour on a dyno and £12 a jet?

Don't be an idiot, how's posting on the internet cheap and easier than making a phone call? Seriously you're not that lazy are you?

Why does this forum have to be constantly bombarded with stupid arse questions like that?

I'm sure I could give you some out of date from my local dyno operator hundreds of miles away from you, yeah that'd be useful... You've turned what should've been a 5 second phonecall into yet more clutter on here...

well im sorry for being such a 'burden' on YOUR forum...

id imagine prices are similar throughout the country, so its not such a bad idea asking a rough price is it?

being a bike forum i imagined this would be the best place to ask.

you clearly know what i need as its so obvious... tell me captain knowledge!

is some one not getting any lovin toby??
thats some pent up sexual anger there Very Happy

any way, you could give the carbs a wee tweak your self, just hgive it half a turn on the mixture screw, then try it,
that should sort out the very bottom,
then is its still a little off in the lower mids, lower the needle clip position by 1 notch,

if still not on, then i would say call around and get a price for a dyno and rejet.
i always say its better to give it a go first, before shelling out the dosh Thumbs Up
