Bought some new indicators from demon tweeks today. I bought a set of front motrax ones (12v21w) and a set of fairing indicators for the back (12v10w). The guy in the shop said they should work together (I was pretty sure they'd flash faster) but I decided to get them anyway. Sure as hell, when connected the bike they flash faster. The bulbs are like the pilot lead in the headlight but are 10w and I need them to be 21w - they're amber aswell (but I've heard you can buy bulb paint so it's not much of an issue to do that if I can only get clear ones.

Is there an easier way around this? A clever indicator relay or something?

If it helps I'll post a picture of the bulbs up later on.

Cheers guys and gals.

I'm not too good with electrics! What would this effectively do? and how would I go about doing it/what rating resistors would I need?

Busters do a relay flasher thingybob which has settings on it so you can adjust aftermarket flashy indis. If you get led ones you put it in the circuit somewhere (read instructions obviously)

Bout 15 pounds IIRC.

Thanks for the info mate, really appreciate it.

I'm aware of these however and was hoping for a cheaper fix. I'm going to my local motor factors in a bit to see if they do the 10w bulbs in 21w OR my front indicator (21w) bulbs in a 10w.

If not then I'll have to get a relay.
