£2500 is a bit steep for a bike that old, and I don't care what mods you've done to it. At the end of the day you can pick up a late 90's ZX6R for that price. Just because you've spent a lot on it doesn't mean it's worth a lot, take streetfighters for example, they're worth a fraction of the cost they are to produce, but price isn't the issue because it's the owners that want to trick them up. It's only worth what somebody will pay for it, and if a Honda dealer is offering you £2500 snap their hand off.

considering the bike is mint, with a full system on the way, new tyres, and USD forks, and the FSH i'd be inclined to say that 2500 is a very good deal

Yeah but when you look and realise you can pick up a ZX6R or CBR600 that's newer than his VFR it seems like a crap deal.

aye it does, but 400's have always been expensive in comparison, same with insurance, sometimes costs more to insure them than it does a 6

and if anything, when these little 400's start to become a bit thinner on the ground, prices may go up, as they become rare and desirable, this is a while in the future though

The size of the bike doesnt reflect the price. its the quality, and how much people want it.

2500 doesnt sound too bad for that bike, considering the specs on it Very Happy

And scooby, you dont just buy a bike so as to get the most power per ££ do u?
