Okay.

Situation, Im in Canada at the moment, with work. Its alright, gorgeous city of Quebec and all that Jazz.

Well, I've been here for...1 week today. Yeah, its not very long to be away from home at all.

But wheres my bike? I woke up yesterday morning and proceeded to get out of my kingsize bed in the hotel, get a wash in my en suite gorgeous bathroom and then panicked. Why? Because I couldnt find my bike gear. Wheres my fucking helmet? My gloves?

I look out from the third story window and see that my bike is no where in sight. I scream out of the open window and crash through the door into the corridor, vault 3 flights of stairs and land at the bottom like a cat, and burst out from the hotel room, and wake up in a cold sweat.

Theres no bike here, I'm in canada.

Okay, it didnt actually happen. It was a dream.

Testement to how much Im missing my bike.

Its torturing me.

Just now, writing this, I kid you not, Media Player updated and just started playing. It was "I need a Hero" from the Shrek II soundtrack.

I nearly wept.

I had no idea I would miss my green dragon so much at all.

All you cunts riding round on your motorbikes. Grrr.

Anyone find they miss their bike a hell of a lot more than they thought they would?

Just to rub it in there are 4 bikes outside on my driveway that I could be riding (insured to ride other people's bikes) but instead I'm sitting here on the net! HAHA

Ooooh, mr Instigator you are a funny one Wink

Now i think about it though, telling you all how much I miss my girlfriend and my family in general bike chat on a bike forum would have been a much better idea. Do apologise, good sir!

Thumbs Up

Apology accepted. But only just. Razz

If I was out in Quebec, the last thing I would be looking at outside the workplace would be a computer screen. That is all. Wink

No offence but youve got to be pretty fucking mentally weak/addicted to something to think like that.

I used to, then I realised it's just metal and plastic at the end of the day. Can easily be replaced, even in Canada.

umm Canada

Last time i was there got pulled by the plod for doing 185 KPH in a hire car....oops.

Wife didn't help as she got the giggles and was almost wetting herself by the time he was asking for my license and docs.

Thought he was going to dope test her Smile

Good thing was i had slowed down when he clocked me as not long before was going as fast as the shitty hire car would go !

The road between Ottawa and Quebec has some of longest straights possible yet the speed limit is 100 Kph (60 Mph)

Got a photo somewhere.
