i usually found that going through a ford washes your efforts away. i got pulled for having my old car that dirty apparently having it this dirty on the screens i couldnt see anything....my response, well i saw you didnt i. tryed to get me to wash it aswell .
but you cant beat a proper 4x4 for off road, landy, range rover, suzuki sj, toyota hilux surf

there is a similar thing with mercedes sprinter, they are also built like a tank with no crumple zones.

businesses love them as if they are in a crash they are fine as other vehicles absorb the impact, while they remain intact, so they can be used next day

what are you going to do ? ban modern vehicles from being built for stiffness and to protect their occupants at the expense of others ?

think you will find the new mercedes sprinter a damn sight softer than the current, same with the transit. Even the current model is hardly a tank, I wrote off the front of a hire one at 15mph so I think you have your facts wrong somewhere along the lines.

If you lean on a transit front grill it actually bends inwards, its soft enough to sleep on.

I did a bit of this over the holidays when I was back home. I have the really muddy stuff a miss though - RWD, thin tyres and wet mud aren't a good combination, plus it needs to be well washed off or the underside will dissolve pretty quickly.
