I am planning on heading down to the Isle of Man at the end of July, and camping whenever possible, but can stay in a B&B one or maybe 2 nights. I will be arriving mid-day monday and leaving mid-day Friday.

What places can you reccomend to see, wheres the good roads, wheres the good campsites, anything I MUST go and see?

Anyone who is around this time is welcome to come with me!

Jeez Angel,,, not been to the isle of man in a long time...
Very early 80s and probably too pist to notice, except bikes Laughing

Went back early 90s with the kids, went up the manx wheel and found i was scared of heights,, had to be carried down Embarassed

went to fairy bridge, you won't see them as your bike will scare them away....( they are there though)

What i do remember is the roads were ok, and i would amagine the up keep of them would be good, as the race track is the main road...

Would love to tag along,,, bring back loads of memorys Drooling

The first time I went past the fairy bridge my mum shouted 'theres a fairy' and I was looking in the middle of the road for a fairy Laughing

I must have been 5ish.

Laxey wheel is awesome. Don't miss out on it.

Oh and there's only one McDonalds on the island so depending on where you are you might need to travel for a bit of distance to get your double sausage and egg McMuffin Laughing

The Sloc from Port Erin's a good road too, then left down into Glen Maye and Peel, then up the Coast towards Kirk Michael and onto the TT course.
