Tell me all about it please!

Who uses it and why, who doesn't and why?

Has it ever saved your tyre?

Has it done any damage or caused any problems?

I used some for an emergency puncture repair on my 1st 125, was supposed to be maximum 60miles use or something, used it for about 7/8 months on the front wheel Laughing no worries. Only cost £4 a can. Thumbs Up

I know people who won't because they don't want the unsprung weight sloshing around in their tyres.

i dont know about that exact one but i use 'slime ultra' and have never had any problems, its less than a tenner for a bottle which does two wheels and it's good before or after the puncture, my tyre pressures haven't gone down by even 1 psi since putting that stuff in ! i don't think i had a puncture to start, may have been a little one or the rim, but since adding that to my tyre it doesn't drop at all.

I had a slow puncture in the rear tyre of my NSR and was too cheap to replace the tyre.

One 'dose' of punctureseal and the tyre stayed permanently inflated. Smile

I have used Puncture seal for a few years now without any problems. It is all crap about sloshing around/ unsprung weight unless you are Rossi or Biagi and the like. for us mortals you won't know a thing about it. It has save my tyre just the once with a small nail in the tyre and i carried on for another 4k miles after it. I do let the guys changing my tyre know I have it just so that they are ready to clean it up when they change the tyre.
Go get some for that added peace of mind. I know it will never be 100% but even 80% is better than nothing.
It usually costs about £20 - £25 to have both wheels done and lasts as long as the average tyre does.

Just out of interest is this only in tyres with inner tubes or the tubeless type as well?

Kal, Slime is both - but im pretty sure they all are too - and if not, most are atleast.

Dom_ again, slime is for cars and bikes and should stop your bike doing what you say as the same stuff stopped my old bike going form 40 psi to 0 in 3 hours because of a corroded rim, even though they say it cant fix rim problems (or shouldn't) but it never did my any harm. Smile

There are two types of Ultraseal for tubes and non tubed. I have only used Punctureseal on tubless
