Getting my kit on outside Tescos last night when this daft old bat wandering past stops next to me.

"I don't like those things...far too dangerous."
"Especially the way you lot show off all the time leaning over round corners."

At first i thought she was taking the p1ss. When i realised she was actually serious i tried to explain thats how bikes corner but she was having none of it and told me there would be less accidents if we all tried to go round corners without leaning over Smile

Absolute genius !

Anyone else ever get the crazy brigade offering "advice" ?

You should have said old people driving those stupid carts on the path is far too dangerous to pedestrians. Wink

The replies could have been similar to the following…

Who gave you the right to talk to me?

I hate the way people talk to you when you’re busy.

Wow look at that! *point behind them*

Then ride off, or start the bike and rev continuously until they walk away

I’m so sorry

You've got a point there...

As they come fitted with the latest generation forward / aft deflector sheilds the "driver / operator" is no longer required to pay any attention whatsoever to their surroundings.

Add in the free frontal lobotomy and you get hours of fun as they blindly wander the streets of britain eating small children and waving their sticks at all shouting "Get out my way i'm old and crippled don't you know".

I'd have agreed with her and said that airline pilots need to pack it in too, all that leaning round the corners, disgraceful.

I got chatting to a 90 year old woman at a National Express stop once about her touring all over Europe on a Vespa when she was younger, and she still rides, but her daughter wouldn't let her have a Bandit 600.

Fucking awesome woman.

Nice tits too

Old people shouldn't be allowed cars. Popped over to the co-op at the next village and nearly got side swiped by a bloke who must have been 85 coming out of the garage. And you guessed it, he was driving a rover citycar Evil or Very Mad
