I've always considered what ZX10Rs are like to live with ie day to day running costs , I look on reviews and the word that comes back is astronomical...... ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die. Yeah am such a muppet i stuck the panniers on in a rush to get out as i took a 1/2 day and wanted to take my camera. The mark on the wingarm is a bit of black covering i put on that is worn as my boot was rubbing against the paint.
The bike i cannot fault apart from am too big for it tbh get soar legs within a hour. I find the bars to be comfy, i recently changed the rear shock to be harder and feel like the bike is well planted. The photos are taken north of Ullapool which is i the north west coast highlands of Scotland.
As i work from home the bike is now become a hobby more than a commuter. I would not get that sort of bike if i had to use it everyday, the cbr 600 fy was good at commuting and pretty fast. ____________________ Current: 2019 Yamaha T7 -> 2015 KTM Superduke R | 2000 Yamaha R1 Past -> 2009 KTM 990 SM -> 2005 kawasaki ZX10r -> 2000 Honda CBR 600 FY -> 2002 Honda XLV 125 Varadero

2nd pic looks great - nice depth of field
Love ZX10's - just not sure I could live with one. I really should have a test ride to see what the riding position is like. ____________________ Current Bike: Triumph Speed Triple T309

Yeah was a good day and the views up here are great (as long as the weather is, enjoying them while they last).
Camera is a 400D (USA spec Rebel XTI)
Lens was the bog standard 18-55mm with wide angle adapter
I tend not to use it much as i have a canon 100-400 L IS USM lens but wanted to go more of the background in so opted for the smaller lens. ____________________ Current: 2019 Yamaha T7 -> 2015 KTM Superduke R | 2000 Yamaha R1 Past -> 2009 KTM 990 SM -> 2005 kawasaki ZX10r -> 2000 Honda CBR 600 FY -> 2002 Honda XLV 125 Varadero

I just bought a Nikon D40. I was tempted by the 450D but to be honest even the 300D offers far more than my talent could make use of.
If you shop around you can get the D40 for about £260, then get £30 cashback from Nikon. I actually bought mine from Jessops as they were pice matching Amazon and then offerring the Tamron 55-300mm lense for just £99, so that was the camera, kit lense and 55-300mm for about £330
Photography is far more related to the user than the camera. Take a look on Flickr as to whats possible with even a low budget DSLR
https://www.flickr.com/cameras/nikon/d40/
https://www.flickr.com/cameras/canon/eos_digital_rebel_xsi/ (thats the 450D)
....and if you're better than those, you should really be looking at the Canon XXD range , rather than the XXXD range. ____________________ Current Bike: Triumph Speed Triple T309

Aye, I k now it's more the user than the camera(like riding a bike quickly really )
I'm after my first dSLR and I can get them on discount from work, so I was just having a look really, thanks for you input though. ____________________ My Flickr |

Im a Canon man sorry i dont do Nikon.
What equipment i have owned.
Canon 400D (fine entry level DSLR) Want the new 5D when it comes out
Canon 18-55mm lens (would recommend you buy the body only lens is pretty poor)
Canon wide angel converter (not bad)
Canon 70-300 IS USM (decent mid range lens)
Canon 100-400 L IS USM (cracking lens expensive but worth the £) ____________________ Current: 2019 Yamaha T7 -> 2015 KTM Superduke R | 2000 Yamaha R1 Past -> 2009 KTM 990 SM -> 2005 kawasaki ZX10r -> 2000 Honda CBR 600 FY -> 2002 Honda XLV 125 Varadero
