Has anyone here got these fitted to a supersports or any other bike?
how does the "rumoured" extra comfort compare to the stock seats......are they really worth the price tag?

also...is there a cheaper way of adding comfort to stock sportsbike seats (foam filled shorts maybe?)...and is there anything i can attach or stick to a pillion seat to stop the passenger sliding forward?

Super glue maybe? Laughing

Push bike (lycra) shorts have padding for your arse, could probably do something like that (or wear a pair under your leathers).

Try a "triboseat", they advertise on egay all the time and also available through their website. They're all model specific and do seem to work.

I've got one on my TT600 and fit is good, also looks ok and was easy to install. Don't be confused by the pictures, it's not a full material cover, but it is like a rubberised mesh with drawstring around the bottom. Thumbs Up

Oh before i buy one.....i presume the fitting that attaches it is safe and secure ??

"drawstring" kinda makes me worry that it`ll slip off going round corners...lol

Don't worry, the drawstring gives a good tight fit and the rubbery "sticky" material is on both sides, holds it tight and snug...... and we all like tight and snug! Wink

Also have a look for local seat recovers. Plenty out there that will remake your seat to your specs with some nice gel inserts to soften the blow on your soft young bum.......

er....40 yr old hard ass ta very much Laughing

I wouldn`t bother with comfort mods any other time coz the bikes ok for 3hour hauls....but when i go on my tour i`m gonna be on the road in baking hot sun for 6-8 hours a day so i reckon i`m gonna have problems.

will research lycra shorts and see what`s out there.Cheers.
