Here you go.

Original powder coating company I went to couldn't strip the wheels So I took the wheel and grab rail to a company in Sunderland and they sorted it. Not sure it is the colour we needed but hey, the quality is without question. 2 wheels and grab rail cost £70.

The wheels and grabrail have an excellent gloss finish. They even sorted a small chunk taken out of the aluminium on the corner of the grabrail. It now looks like new, no niks or gouges apparent.

The footrest hangers were done by the original powdercoater and they have a very cool 'satin finish'. They were originally gold and the aluminium had taken quite a battering through corrosion. Still looks very good though and they should set off the polished footrest beds very nicely.

All I want to do know is get them on the damn bike but i have taken this weekend to be with friends 150 miles South in Lincoln so I will have to steady myself until next weekend.

Damn I can't wait to see what it looks like.

"I ain't going on no plane!"

"B.A. time for your injection"

"SHUDDUP FOOL!"

"I love it when a plan comes together..."

Impressive, and all for £70 - not bad!

I'm interested in doing that to my Hornet in the summer, whats the address of that place? Also, do you know of any places in London who do that?

Cheers!

It is slowly but surely being put back together. Bits are being put back on instead of being taken off which I like. We had a bit of trouble with my wheels yesterday. The break disk bolts snapped Crying or Very sad so they have been taken in today to be drilled and whatever (too technical for me). So really once thats done and the tyres are on and balanced it should start to look even more like a bike. Oh and my front forlks need re-building.

Not long to wait we're getting there! It has practically taken 5 months to re-build, which isnt all that bad concidering I read here a while ago some of you have had to wait that long just for one part. Smile
