so today i went out on the bike at lunch with a friend on the back, and another friend behind in a car, and as you know, traffic is frakkin aweful, so i was filtering...

now, theres one of those wide central bits with chevrons on that i know your not meant to ride on, but i wasnt doing it unsafely.

so there i am pottering along, and i see another bike... i consider a nod, but then it gets closer and im like 'LULZ @ 125CChavscum'

usual RS safety gear... pyjamas and a lid.

he's about 40 meters away at this point, and then all of a sudden does some gay little sharp turn and ends up coming straight for me in a ''cool'' attempt at filtering like me.

now, im oncoming, and so is he... collision?

so this little fucker is trying to play chicken with me, so i knock it down a gear, and accelerate HARD at him.

the little shit panics, blares his pissy little buzzer horn at me, and swerves out of my way.

apparantly, according to my friends who were in the car saw the whole thing... after id passed him, he swerved into the wrong side of the road, almost smashing into oncoming traffic, then swerved back in a panic and nearly stacked it into the central reservation bollard thing!

if only i were so lucky...

who the fuck pulls out in front of a filtering bike from the other side of the road?

me 1 him 0

tail between his herpes ridden legs.

From the "chavscum"'s persepective, you were the idiot.

Really, I don't see anything wrong with what he was doing- sounds as though he was just filtering to me, but that you are so solipsistic that his filtering is some sort of "chavscum" conspiracy againt you, on your no doubt supercc bike.

You can filter - in your own words, "where you shouldn't"
But he can't.

He did. You dismissed him as chavscum (without knowing anything at all about the chap). And you threw a hissy fit.

That seems the be the extent of this incident, I'm afraid.

Really, I wonder if you should be on the road at all if you feel the need to charge, like a drunken chariot, at anyone you don't like. You could have caused an accident yourself - hardly something to boast about here.

Feel free to convince me otherwise.

from the highway code:
Quote:
125 chavscum MUST UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES filter in the general direction of other traffic

and should the despicable situation arrise then accelerating hard at the offending party (avoiding contamination with the herpes) is the fastest and safest way to deal with the situation.
Post incident it is required to wish the rider to crash in a terrible and horrific way

your just as much of a twat as him maybe you should have both crashed into each other for the safety of everyone else!

oh and next time you go out riding can you put a big sign on your bike saying
I AM MATTSPRATUK GET OUT OF MY WAY CUS I AM BETTER THAN YOU! Middle Finger

The level of arrogance you are showing is quite shocking, as if he wouldn't have filtered unless the great Matt Pratt did it.

The areas with chevrons are there for just that reason, to keep idiots from colliding, they indicate unsafe overtaking areas, never mind filtering, sounds more like bullshit to me. Thumbs Down Thumbs Down -Jockey.

Kinda saw a guy come off his RS earlier while in the work van in Kensington earlier, not sure what happened, possible slipped in the rain? I'm not sure as he had just overtaken me and then a bus, then I go round the corner and he's on the floor.

If this was you, hope your bikes ok and such like, don't think you'll be riding around so fast on wet roads again!

so a learner rider was having a go at filtering, pulled out to try and get passed a couple of cars, just to see how it goes. and a 600cc superbike that was 40 meters away us suddenly hauling ass towards him. you probably shit him right up.

Am I the only one who see's it as Matt was filtering, then the chav saw him and tried to show off and pulled out to block him?
Thats how I see it. Nothing wrong with what he did IMO.

40 meters isnt that far when your moving...

i was going about 15mph

so was he...

how long does it take to go 40 meters at 30mph? not long. as soon as i saw him in my ''lane'' with no intention of pulling back in, i reacted.

he must have seen me, and pulled out regardless. i was there first.

https://img90.imageshack.us/img90/1643/fffdc0.jpg

nothing wrong with what i did... as far as im concerned, i taught the kid a lesson.

anyway...

''cool'' like me?? what do you think the '' is? its irony... people like that filter when theres absolutely no need to... hence why they think its ''cool''...

''twat''

heres what made me think he was a chavscum.

1: RS125
2: pyjamas and lid, no protection
3:pulling out in front of me with no regard for anyone else

are you telling me im being a bit unfair?? because i dont think i am.

i dont think any less of 125 riders or L platers at all! i just dont like seeing people riding in shit all gear, THATS when i lose the respect, as its my tax money that will pay to get them patched up for free.

Even if he were riding like a tool, I don't see the need to launch the bike towards him almost causing him to crash. Besides WTF is that all about, I thought you were supposed to avoid things coming towards you and perhaps give them the wanker sign?!

Now what would have been amusing is if your rear tyre span up on the white lines, stepped the back end out then vicously came back into line spitting you and the pillion off into the path of a truck. Fucking hilarious!

Thats if any of this ever happened of course.

Everybody is telling you but you wont take it in.

If you were never on chevrons in the first place it would not have happened.

You are just as much of a prick for it as he allegedly was.

You would be just as much to blame if anything happened, MORE to blame in fact for "accelerating HARD at him".

im thinking... yeah, i still think its funny.

my relatively new tyre just scrubbed in combined with a hot dry day, and 33bhp would hardly allow my rear wheel to skip thankyou very much.

and giving the ''wanker'' sign to him would have put me in less control of my bike.

i wouldnt have killed him, he would have killed himself.

i didnt hit him did i? so theres no problem. if anything i helped the kid to look around a bit more instead of pulling out in front of oncoming vehicles.

@ guvnor... 33bhp hard accelerating? doesnt count for much

take this video for example...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJ9hKpsulmY

who's at fault? thats right, the camera rider.
he pulls into the path of the oncoming bike.

same situation with the RScum... other than it was slightly toned down. RS pulled into space i was in.

Reading the title, I was hoping to add my anecdote of a silly, dangerous, arrogant RS50 rider to the bottom of the thread.

But reading it...seriously Matt, have a word with yourself.
