People,

Just a quicky this, what is and where can i get a decent paddock stand that'll fit an NSR.

When I say decent I mean....

One that holds the bike steady (and will hold others ie CB600 Hornet)
One that's not too difficult to use (I am a newbie after all)
One that's not too expensive

Cheers,

Beechy

Where's a good place to buy on from though, I've never seen any in the shops I've been to.

What's cheap for a paddock stand?

I bought mine from busters accesories for £20. They are always dishing out their leaflets in MCN.

I bought my cheap paddock stand at a bike show. The people I bought it from do most of the shows and should be at the little Castle Donnington show on Sunday

All the best

hi,

if you are looking for a stand to allow you to clean the back wheel, lube the chain and other stuff like that, you could consider the 'lift stick' which is a device like an old fashioned car jack that lifts the bike up using the side stand as the other leg, and fits under the offside swingarm or other convenient point, i find it easier to use than a paddock stand when im on my own. m and p sell them for 30 quid, i recon they are a handy bit of kit and if you wanted you could always stick in your rucksack or whatever if you were taking a bike on holiday or long trip,

cheers

carl
