Mums b/day on Sunday, I'm not around for it, but anyway.

Haven't got her anything, not sure what I can get her.

What do Mums like? I was thinking Spa day or something.

Or something for her car? She drives a new mini.

Help.

Laughing

Saying that, although I don't like the look of it, it is quite good fun to drive.

Now shut up and be serious!

She's your mum, she likes you to know what her tastes are and do something thoughtful that will fit in with them. Thumbs Up

However, as already suggested flowers are always good. Thumbs Up In my house I generally expect maltesers for special "mum" events and I'm rarely disappointed. Wink

Go out and buy a CD (or vinyl if you have time/she has a player) of her favourite band from "back in her day", my mum loves stuff like that.

Shows you are putting some thought in and that you have listened when she has chatted about her life over the years.

I agree with Yam.
After [insert your age] years, you ought to know what sort of things she likes, garth! LOL

I'd get annoyed if nobody in my family knew what sort of stuff I liked and only bought me flowers, cos it would mean they haven't really cared enough to look and see what my interests, likes or dislikes are.

Although flowers as well is always good Wink Thumbs Up

If they've not found something I like, then a box of "Lush" smellies always goes down well with me Laughing

Lush clicky

Not a bad idea that.

She likes vegetarian stuff too.

My own mother's birthday is coming up (don't know the date, my dad reminds me about her b'day and my mum reminds me about my dad's b'day so I've never bothered to remember. Bad? probably.)

I'm quite lucky as my mum tends to be happy with anything, she only gets miffed if there isn't a card.

I did once forget about mothers day, couldn't get a card on the day so I bought her a fish supper instead. Cool

Thumbs Up
