I have lusted after one of these ever since I reached the mighty age of 12 and finally, after 18 years of being semi sensible I have finally succumbed to buying one Very Happy

I'm still keeping the Bandit as I love it but the GT may have to go now as i'm a bit short of space and this deserves workshop area.

I particularly wanted this colour and it has the 1052 gixxer lump in it.

For those of you who know their gixxers, I can confirm that, yes this has been and is still a track bike as well as being on the road. It's had a fair few toys on it, it's cammed up, has flatsides on it and the guy who owned it sold it because it scared him. He owns a SP1 Wink

What do you think?

I will add that this is a toy and not for everyday use Wink the road mileage, backed up by mot's is 3.5K and it's a '88

Thumbs Up

Man thats a fine bike.

Not sure on the SS exhaust, it just doesn't look right but then again a carbon or different system would look odd on an 80's hooligan machine?

I think you're right, I do have a spare can sitting in the workshop which will fit but it's a stubby. Not sure if that would work either. It's full stainless luckily - all the way through so it may have to stay just for hassle less riding.

I will be changing the can though as it has a small dent on it which can be seen between the can logo and the hanger. He dropped it (the can, not the bike) and didnt have a replacement so left it. It comes with two full sets of sprockets, front and rear as well as whats on there, for different gearing. Thumbs Up
