Simple question: If i put a new exhaust system on my NSR,do i have to rejet it?????

ideally if you want to see an increase in power, when you put a new exhaust system on, you might need to go up a jet size or two in the carbs, thats how it works on 4 strokes, i see no reason why the principle shouldnt be the same for 2 strokes, but you never know

however if you just want it for sound, the bike should run fine as it is, you just wont see a difference in performance

you should rejet/adjust the carb after a full systems been added

it will alow the engine to breath better (or it should) and as such it will mean the mixture will be lean and this aint good for a 2 smoke (or any engine for that matter)

at least thats my understanding of general engine modification
