A genuine 205 dimma 1.9 Very Happy 1988 model.

What a beast! (before people start, its not a chavved up batty boy machine, it comes from factory like this)

the pictures dont do it justice its wider than it looks.

rear tyres are 225, and the front are 205 on 15 inch compomotive dimma split rims.
engine is noisy and is being sent away to be rebuilt, looking for around 225bhp after this though Laughing

(i apologise for my car threads, the bike will get a full going over soon)

cheers

I like car threads, so there!

Nice car, not sure that the colour does much though?

Part from them back lights I love it. Wanna swap bank accounts? Laughing

Proper fun looking little car, I can see what you mean by a CHAV element in it but I wouldn't say no. Thumbs Up

Let's be honest it didnt come from the factory quite like that!

Apart from the gash alloys and the colour its a nice motor. Prefer some 8 spokes on it or some proper 80's style white uns Mr. Green

Hmmm, I don't think much of it too be honest.

The body kit makes it look someone has stuck and airline to exhaust and blown the car up abit.

And what the hell is with those spoilers's the roof one looks enough but to have that one further down the boot looks naff.

Not my cup of tea but its only my opinion. Then again I do have some weird taste.

A friend of mine had a Dimma 205 with an MI16 lump chucked in the front.
Very impressive bit of kit.

Colour, I LOVE it. A 205 runs past my work every day in that colour, its just a stock 1.9 though. All standard.

Never been overly keen on the dimma kit, although its 10 times better than any body kit you can buy for the 205 in fairness.

Heres a clip of my mates MI16 205. He Blew the bottom end on it a while back racing his mates M3.

Doesn't look too bad for a French car.

First thing I'd do is take the kit off and make sure it isn't rusted underneath Laughing

Cept that's newer. A lot newer.

Also, much as that car looks lush, as with most of that type it screams chav racer, whether or not the case. Confused

IF you do one thing in this life, PLEASE bin those rear lights!

Please!

Laughing

These are mint. I used to see a lot of Dimma kit buzzing about where I used to live as they were based somewhere in that area of Cheshire.Smile

Nice car Palmer!

Watch out for the lift off oversteer round corners in that - a friend of mine had one and ended up going backwards into a tree! Laughing

I think most 205's are pretty bad for lift off oversteer, but i know those are pretty savage when they let go.

Just remember to keep at least neutral throttle and all will be well!

Not too sure if I like that or not, I love 205's, but more for their 'retro' look. I think I am going to have to have a look at the piccys again... I agree it could possibly be done in a slightly better colour, but it does look mint!
