I've been riding a GSX600F since march, which tbh is starting to bore me.

Anyway I've been looking at getting a GSF1200. I'm currently paying £660 on bennetts for the GSXF, which was upgraded from a previous bike on the same policy (GS500).

I know i can just phone up and ask, but im trying to consider my options so want a quick answer.

I just got a quote from bennetts online for £300 on the GSF, if i was to transfer the policy would i be able to claim back the difference? (minus the admin fees ofcourse)

Honestly if i could just straight swap i would be happy with that.

Nick (considering a car)

It could be tricky as Bennetts is a broker.

You may have done a quote through them but if it doesn't come back with the same broker the policy could be more with the one your GSX600F is with.

Only thing you can do is ring up and ask.

I'm pretty sure im with AXA though bennetts. The quote i got just now was through AXA also. But yes it looks like i will have to wait and just ring up. Thanks, Nick

Cool bikes.

I've been looking at them for when I've passed my test. Only £410 TPFT for a 17 year old with 1 years no claims.

Can't be bad for a 1.2 Laughing

Apparently a very good bike for fun and practabilty, which is exactly what i need. I'm not put off by the size of the engine, as the performance is similar to my 600, only 20bhp more, and 10mph on top speed.

Anyone have any ideas on how dealers are on PX's? Parkers says £1,580 and that bike is up for similar.

Also any idea what is high milage on these bike? and what an engine rebuild would cost in parts?

Thanks Nick
