Overheating, very confusing! please help?!?

My NS 125 RK keeps overheating and water just bubbles outa the filler cap, it doesn't seem to be flowing freely round the system, could this b because of the thermostat?? or is it something more serious?? i have bled the system many times but the water just seems to boil off and it needs more! Would much love it if any1 could help please =]

Either stat, pump or head gasket gone.

Start with a new stat.

What does temp gage read ?

When you have the old stat out, reverse flush the engine to remove the gunk that builds up and do the same with the rad.

the temp reads okay when its not movign and im fillin it up but as soon as i get on it and rev it about like up and down the road the temp just shoots up and the filler cap hisses with pressure.

it just seems that the stat isnt lettin the coolant flow round the system, do you know wr i could find the thermostat on an NS 125 RK?
