Hi Anyone know a good oil to use on an 04 Fazer need to pick some up today if i want to go on mayday run, Im totally useless with mechanics but got to learn.

Prolly too late as we have gone past mayday Smile

But I have always thought oil choices are a bit anyhow. Castrol GTX seems popular so you could try it and see how your clutch performs.

i use cheap supermarket oil in all my bikes and change it every few hundred miles with no problems but maybe I'm a cheapskate and a tinkerer Wink

depends on how you ride your bike too I guess.

id go for a semi synthetic 10w40. some people will say use any oil, i prefer to stick to motorcycle oils but its up to you.

Any decent semi synthetic 10w-40 will do, i use halfords motorbike oil in mine and it runs fine.
