aprilia crank shaft removal

i was wondering how hard it is to remove the crank from an aprilia rs 125 as need to replace the bearing that holds the conrod in place as there is excesive play was wondering if this is an easy procedure?

I just done it on mine and its just been sent off today for a rebuild. Taking it out is the easy bit. putting it back in is the hard bit.

Not really easy to do. The big end bearing comes as a kit with a replacemet conrod.

You need appropriate pullers to get the cases apart, and more importantly to get the cases back together (just pressing them together is likely to result in needing new main bearings shortly afterwards).
