I keep hearing all about bike meets in different parts of the country, are there any round the Sheffield/Donny/Nottingham/Chesterfield/Mansfield kinda areas?

There are regular bikemeets up here too. Donny ones at places like Premier Bikes in Askern and such like but most people tend to travel a bit further north to go to Sherburn (most popular on wednesday nights and sundays). Also the Lincolnshire bike meets wont be too far, which I tend to go to during the summer with a couple of mates. (even Scooby has travelled to one from Nottingham.

Maybe see you in the summer Wink

Hi

I used to live in Mansfield. Sundays at Matlock Bath are busy. There is also a biker meet in Nottingham, towards Gedling. Also the Cat and Fiddle pub at the weekends (half way between Buxton and Macclesfield)

All the best

Keith

Yep, and some gits of traffic wardens Evil or Very Mad

By the way, for those around Sheffield, are then any toy runs / pet food runs / easter egg runs on around the city?

All the best

The meets in Gedling are awesome, bout 5 miles from me, 2 pubs within about 3 miles of each other, the Grey Goose then there's the Unicorn. People tend to go to the Goose first then head up in a massive pack to the Unicorn, some nice twisties round there too.

Cat & Fiddle is now shite, some dickheads from a local village started saving up their grass cuttings, soaking then through then spreading them all over the roads because aparently a minority of bikers are tearing through the village (30mph zone) at speeds of upto 100mph. They don't seem to realise that they've made 2 riders crash last summer, none of them hurt, just a brand new 748 wrote off, and an old GSXR1100, this however is besides the point, as the bikes in question were only going about 30mph when the back end just slid out. The police were involved but not a lot they could do aparently.
