insurance company i found after a while on the 'net...
half the price of everyone else! it's crazy!
added a complete biker newbie to my policy-to-be and it cost nowt extra!

6 points (both speeding), 2 claims(non fault accident and theft), 21years old, in hull, bike on the street, 3000 miles +commuting on a cbr125,taking pillion.
and a novice rider added.

£168!!!!!
previously i was being quoted £500 by everyone else!!
first time gocompare.com has been useful!

so, anyone insured with quinn right now then? any good?
cheers all

The laughing stock of the insurance industry. Shoddy claims handling and admin and a very quickly reducding war chest of funding and reserves. Won't investigate claims properly, will look to pay off tpy claimants ASAP regardless of circumstances and without proper investigation into disputed liability claims. Also apparantly will not deal with any claim if it's not reported within 21 days of the accident date. Expected to be up for sale soon.

Also registered in Ireland so not quite regulated by the FSA in the same way as a UK registered insurance company.

Cheap though Laughing

Well, seemed to be OK for me.

I don't even have a bike yet, or a license for that matter. Filled in the details for a CBR600F, 1995 and it came up at £214.25.

That sounds OK to me. £150 excess mind, but...

I've just gone with Quinn myself for my big first bike. TPFT £348, 0yrs NCB.

The second cheapest quote I was able to find was about £550, bit of a difference there! I may think about getting a quote for my car insurance. Laughing Now I have almost 3yrs NCB I think I'll leave Churchill for someone else, they were cheap at the time but I could get better if I shopped around.
