Why was my post from 'found on the net' deleted?

Its not fair i was given quite a bit of good karma for that and now its all gone Crying or Very sad

Was it cos it was slightly racist?

Has someone had their humor removed?

If that is because it was "slightly racist" then that is bloody pathetic.

Videos of people getting their head smashed with rocks is okay though?

A joke is a joke, its not always meant maliciously.

Well its one of three people.........

A Pole.

A Paki (and yes its short for pakistani, like Brit is short for British)

Or Moonie the racial equality defender, which only seems to be cos he left his girlfriend for a "spear chucker".

And before this gets flamed, I have already explained Paki is being used as a short version of Pakistani. The reference to spear chucker was me actually quoting Moonies own words.

Yo, bigmouth - shouldn't you be posting to www.idontactuallyownabikechatforums.com?

Yes, bloody poles coming here taking all our jobs, creating internet forums and the like... the arseholes. Smile

I suspect it was me.

I could call you a thieving chav-scum as a joke, but I seem to remember you took some offensive when people described this of you.

Beast-rider; everyone finds different things funny, mostly I do ignore things that I find offensive and I know others will be personally offended by. This time I didn't.

I generally only view the bike bits of the forum with 'View All'; with all the non-bike bits closed. Too much hassle for me to enjoy the forum otherwise, I have found.
Only was in Random banter after someone else mentioned a different thread to me. However I happened to notice this thread (presume it was this one); read it and decided that the posts in general had gone too far past 'good taste' (or in fact bad taste); so removed the whole thing as the first post was also questionable.

[edit]I should add that as I've seen, some people really will take very serious offence when something fairly innocuous is said as a joke. To the point of suggestions of physical violence and the like.
However, still in the majority of cases I see I do 'let it go' - we've had this discussion before and everyone agrees there should be a line drawn, but definitely not everyone agrees with me as to where - so I generally err on the side of freedom of speach.[/edit]

I appreciate that it's terrible unfair that you 'got given good karma' (actually post ratings, but we shan't go into that here), but, frankly, I don't care Smile. (Not sure if losing those post ratings, if you have, actually means you lose any karma.)

When I have no bike, then you can try and make a joke about me having no bike.
