What a lovely day, this bike has fullfiled nearly all of my expectations and has dissapointed me in some others. The bad points are lack of rear brake which i used to use quite a lot many years ago, the other thing is the very hard ride, i`m sure ill be able to sort that out. I dropped the bike this morning whilst moving it in the shed, it fell away from me, not my strong side, i think my back has taken the brunt of it so i`m pissed off, this little monster outweighs me about 3 times!! On the road this is quite a machine, i was well impressed, it is as they say a pocket rocket, enough said. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Very Happy Very Happy

NC30 is an amazing Old school bike.
Had one, made a mess of the engine doing wheelies. Kind of wish I had looked after it now, would of gone nicely next to my NC29 in the garage.

Obviously the VFR is the "older style" of RVF400.
I kind of wish they had made the NC29 (newer style of the NC23) the same sort of spec as the RVF (nc35), I.e. USD forks etc.

But yea, 400s, Awesome bikes! Unforgiving and have to be totally screwed to get anything exciting out of them.

They make bikers ride imo. They have to be worked to be fast.

Have you not got any photos of it from your ride out?

No pics of the day i`m afraid, didn`t take my camera, didn`t want to take the chance on my first outing in 8 years, the lens alone cost £1k. Very Happy Very Happy Thumbs Up -Jockey.

Yes, the camera is the bees knees, it`s a Nikon D80 SLR, i`ve got two lenses for it, the small lens is an 18-135, the big lens is an 80-400 which can zoom for miles(literally), i`ve taken pics 7-8 miles down the coast from where i live and can pick out the streets and the area where i used to go to school. I had to fit the small lens to do those pics as i just couldn`t get far enough away to do any with the big lens!! I`ll do some more as soon as the weather is right and i can take the camera with me when i`m out on the bike.-Jockey.

Sweet. With specs like that you should try Lightning/storm pictures.

I know a website that would love them. You could even enter them for a calendar competition.
