Hey guys. Bit confused here.

Following an accident 3 months back when a guy in a van reversed into me I initiated my claim. My insurance company were instructed to recover my uninsured losses in the form of damaged to my bike, and NONE of my personal injury - to which they have appointed a lawyers firm too.

I also appointed a different set of personal injury specialists to deal with my personal injury claim, none of my uninsured losses should be covered by them.

On the phone to both firms thismorning to check progress;

The Personal injury lawyers are cracking on and waiting on response from the other insurers.

Meanwhile the insurance appointed solicitors have told me that there is another firm (My PI specialists) dealing with the personal injury claim, and they cannot continue. At this point I pointed out I indicated to my insurance i DID NOT want them dealing with my PI - to which he casually replied that there cant be two firms dealing with it.

Im thoroughly confused. What the fuck?

WTF, your solicitor should be the personal injury specialists, it should be one single person rather than a number of different companies.

You should have one set of solicitors representing you and they should be personal injury specialists, preferably with experience in whatever type of injury you've got.

Sounds like you've decided to instruct lots of different people and it sounds like they're all a bit crap. I suggest you get rid of them all and go to a firm of decent personal injury solicitors.
