right, basically me and my brothers mate are going to start minimoto racing as soon as we've had a go on one and we like it. i have heard a few of you have them (at least one) and what i want to know is: is it expensive to race and is it worth it...i imagine its great fun!

the bikes them selves are not cheap but once you have one and a few spares (sprockets etc) they are petty cheap to race.
it also depends on the class you race in-std 4.2hp or stock 910's are the cheapest way to get into it.
best thing to do is have ago then talk to your nearest dealer-they are all pretty helpfull to new comers

Compared to almost all other forms of bike racing, it's very cheap. But then bike racing is expensive generally.

It is great fun, though we haven't tried and seriosu racing yet.
www.minimotoclub.com/bb is the minimoto forum if you want to know more or look for secondhand bikes etc.
