Was daydreaming today about an old episode of The Simpsons which described Canada as being gay, which got me wondering if a country could be male or female, what would they be? Hmmm

For example:

The United Kingdom?
Germany?
France?
Italy?
Australia?
Japan?
Russia?
China?
Brazil?
The USA?

Just to name a few, and what is your reason for giving them said gender?
