my bandit 600 feels like it has a punchture when i turn. ive checked the pressures and there all correct, when i brake or turn into a corner it feels like there flat and theres no grip there. the level of grip on the tyres are fine.

anyone have any ideas what may cause this?

Have your tyres squared off during the last few months of using it?

Guess you should check all the bolts on the front end.

Twisted or bent forks.

Steering getting snagged.

Back wheel alignement.

Pannier full of bricks on the left hand side. Laughing (oh you meant not turning properly. Laughing )

Feels like my NTV its badly squared on the front , but still in the legal limit, which is why I don't ride it agressively anymore.

check the steering head for freeplay and the front wheel bearings.

When my CBR's handling went to shit, it was down to this.

Thumbs Up

Is it kind of a tip in?

Get the tyre replaced. If the tread is worn irregularly, like it was on my bandit when I got it (Feck knows how?) then it will be funny and feel wrong going into corners.

Or alternativly ride into any garage and they should be able to tell you from a quick looksie if theres anything wrong.

Hi

All above are possible, but first thing to check is the wear on the front tyre. Fronts normally seem to wear either side of the centre and then give odd handling (and for me I have found Michelins seem to be more prone to this at an earlier age than other tyre makes).

All the best

Keith
