Speed cameras!!!!

As a rough % how many of the boxes are actually active and taking snapshots in the UK?

I got a bit impatient today and blasted through some lights that were just about to go red (major junction on the edge of a city centre).
As i went through i clocked a crafty yellow box set back behind a big tree but i dunno if it flashed me or not.
Speedo said 55mph (30 zone) so what should i expect if it caught me?
3 points and a fine?...or more?

In the Northumbria region at least, it's 25% (did one of those 'speed awareness' courses a month or two ago).

cant help you out with percentages but scotch seems to know what they are on about,

I was flashed 4 weeks ago...was bricking it as have 6 points already...I was doing 40 in what i genuinly believed to be a 40 zone...but turns out it was 30 Thumbs Down

, (didnt know the area as was on way to pick up new bike)...

anyways they have 14 days to send the notice of prosecution (NIP) and its been 4 weeks so there couldnt of been any film in it phew!!! hope you are as lucky as I was Thumbs Up
