Fastkwak - you might be right; this is certainly something I've been pondering today. A list of the TT prohibited spectating areas was published a few days ago and it's silly. Seems you can't watch from anywhere these days.

Road racing is dangerous. Fact. Despite this, classes for all races both on the IoM and in Ireland are full (and in some cases oversubscribed). The racers know what they're risking when they compete - just as the spectators do when they watch. There's a passion with this sport rarely seen anywhere else, most likely because it IS so dangerous. I sincerely hope it lasts as long as people want to compete and watch.

In true Dunlop style, Michael Dunlop. Robert's son, has taken the 250 win at the Northwest just two days after the tragic loss of his father at the same event.

To line up on the grid under such terrible circumstances and then to go on to actually win the race is absolutely sensational, Robert would have been so proud.
