My bike a suzuki gs500 e is pretty old, from 1989.

I was wondering which digit of the VIN would enable me to determine which bike mine was off the production line...

I know there wern't all that many many in 1989 of the model and it's in canny condition so it might be worth holding onto the bike into the future...

Rather than fighter it like i was planning.

Unless it's got the vin 0000001 it's unlikely to increase it's value any.

It's only a budget commuter bike it's not like having the 1st RC30 or Fireblade. Thumbs Up

the last 4 digits

it should be between
GM51a- 1000001 (first bike in 89) and
GM51a- 1003615 (last bike in 89) so not too many Very Happy
