My alarm system in my 125 virago has been playing up for some time.. Once the electrics are turned on it's setting the alarm off. The beeper on my keyring doesn't work anymore.. this means i've been unable to ride at all during our heatwave!! Sad

Does anyone know how to disable the immobilizer?

I don't quite understand it.. I took out the 2 plugs which plug into the alarm box itself and it still gets set off when I turn the key on

I'll get the exact model name tomorrow, it's too late just now

Can anyone help me

Use the spare keyfob or get a new one if its not just the battery that is flat.

Just thought i'd add a bit more about my previous troubles with the alarm:

At first it was working fine for months, and then suddenly it wouldn't beep BUT I could still turn the bike on, it was asif the alarm wasn't there anymore, and now just recently the alarm is being set off when I turn the electrics on

Ok I just had a look at the alarm inside the bike, it reads:

Denso 4rf 82305-00
131800-6350
12v
tndf24

Any advice on how to disable this alarm pernamently would be greatly appreciated

The "beeper" is called a keyfob and inside is a battery, have you checked that isn't flat as they don't last forever.

No one is going to put details up on here on how to disable the alarm as its a public forum and anyone can get info easier than using Google. <<<Hint
