Hello all, nice site you have here.

I am the girlfriend of Mr Lucky incase it isnt obvious. I am the one soon to be the owner of a lovely NSR 125. I actually paid my £500 deposit for a Honda CG 125 the exact same as the one I did my CBT and lessons on. But Lucky and I went down yesterday to pay more off on the CG and I found the NSR as soon as I sat on it I knew I had to have it instead. I feel much more at home on the NSR as I do on the CG. 5 weeks to wait, I bet you all can imagine what im going through and how excited I am waiting for my first motorbike to be delivered. Very Happy

I'll have to get some photo's. One thing I have told Mr Lucky however is I am not giving up my pillion seat. It just means now he can ride pillion with me too. Razz We are going to get a helmet to helmet intercom so he can instruct me and get me ready for my test before my CBT runs out.

It's a big advantage having a boyfriend who used to be a bike instructor as he knows what they watch for. Wink

Anyway that is enough about me. Just wanted to introduce myself I will hopefully learn more about my bike by reading some of the threads here. Cool

Hi everyone
I just joined yesterday. Just picked up my 00 nsr125 last sunday. I am doing my test in January, so will hopefully be up to speed by then. I just wanted to let anyone who is intrested that I got some crash bobbins fitted exclusively (prototype) for my bike last week at RG Racing in Farnborough. (they have a website with location map and tel no) they will be showcasing at the NEC next weekend.
So if any of you are worried about dropping your bike, give them a call and I am sure they will sort you out.
Nice to find a site for 125 owners,
Cato

ooo ... a thought on buying crash bobbins by RG

The MCN Ninjas Forum I occasionaly visit got RG to give anyone that mentioned the forum 10% off... might be worth someone approaching them from here.

The ZX6 ones, at least, do their job well... lowside and only the right footpeg hanger broke/touched down... didn't have fairing lowers on though.

Hi

Welcome to the forum, both of you.

Enjoy the bikes. Far better choice than a CG, just try and borrow a CG for your bike test for the U turns

Presume the 5 week wait is as you are waiting until next pay day.

All the best

Keith

You got it, Miss L has paid it off in two months! She has only been working 2 months and a week so that is not bad.

Miss L has passed her CBT already and has been taking lessons so hopefully we will be up to speed once the NSR has been through my garage for a bit of a spruce up. (I am addicted to my polishing wheel! Shocked )

I am sure she will be back in here tomorrow to thank you all for the warm welcome (she is off to bed now, bless her little cottons).

I must say once again what a cool place this is.

Night night...

They've just got a list of suppliers that various people have contacted who will offer a discount.
Unfortunatley it will be harder to do here, because there's such a range of bikes... on there at least half the people have ZX6Rs with the majority of the rest with ZX9Rs and ZX12Rs so it's easy to convince people that a load of people will want a particular product.

They got 10% off at Demon teaks as well, which is nice Cool
