It all happened quite fast so I didn't see much as I was tumbling except for the flames, and I was just praying no-one got hurt.
"There was so much fire. I just thought 'What the hell is going on here?'. I've had a run of bad results with mechanical problems and crashes and I just want to go away and recover now. One thing's for sure, that's by far the most spectacular thing that's happened to me during my Superbike career." |
