Good race, decent overtaking and Rossi winning is always a bonus, shame about Toesland, I know he said it wasnt his fault but looking at the clip it seems he dived up the inside and Dovisioso didnt see him, 6 of 1 half a dozen of the other.

As much as I dont like Lorenzo (no reason its just because hes a young wippersnapper) how good was his performace, comming right from the back with 2 fucked ankles and making passes just as good a Rossi.

Seems the Yamaha has the legs over the distance,
*rubs hands with glee looking forward to the rest of the season*

Bounce!

An absolutely awesome race, me and a few of my pals rode down there and watched it, I will be putting some action pics up at the weekend. But, it was great to see Rossi race and get his 9oth victory. As for Lorenzo, my hat is off to him, considdering all the troubles/injuries he had. he came out clean at the end and ran a storming race. Thumbs Up

I did notice that their bikes are extremely loud compared to the British superbike races, I was told it was due to the noise restrictions in the UK. I noticed some people in the cround were wearing earplugs to compensate. The Kawasakis sounded beautiful.

Nice to see a Yamaha 1 2 3 Very Happy

Also, watching the 125 race, a congratulations to Bradley Smith for finishing 2nd in the race after his terrible start. He came out clean and happy.

It's got more to do with the fact that the MotoGP bikes are complete prototypes, so are much less restricted than Superbikes (which are based on road going bikes and therefore share many components and designs).

Whilst MotoGP bikes sound gorgeous for sheer ear splitting volume you can't beat F1 cars!

Ahhh, that makes sense regarding the prototypes! Yeah I have heard that the F1 cars are a little noisey. Very Happy Very Happy

I went to a testing day at Silverstone, just down the road from me, because it was free to get in. I chuckled when I saw loads of people with ear defenders... until an F1 car went by and my ears nearly imploded! Laughing
