AFAIK there's no way you can have a 99 model r-k

If it is a 99 model nsr then see the derestriction guide on www.nsr125.com
Most restricted 125s should do about 75 (a bit of a stuggle usually, but not *too* bad Smile ), so there may be something else wrong Confused.

wrong forum, but oh well Smile

right:

https://www.nsr125.com/derestrict.htm should point you about right direction.

is an RK faired? and i assume its an import, so it might be restricted in the CDI unit

Well, afaik, the exhaust and carb restrictors will be in that bike as well

Follow the diagrams, and if you find any restrictors, take em out.

Ant,
For your referance. My bike is an Italian Import NSR125R-K. H-reg, 1991. It will just reach 100mph and will get there reasonably quick.

<<<<<<<<<<----------- Does yours have twin headlamps?

Scotty and MarsBar go to Bassetts Pole. Most of the rest of us are going there soon too.

There is a meet at the Bradford Arms on the A5 on Mondays, The Wheel (just past Wolvo) on Wednesdays, the Stormy Petrel on thursdays and quite a few bikers go to the Food Stop café in Bridgnorth on sunday afternoons

I'm up for a ride out ant (and anyone else) one weekend, but my bikes gonna be off the road for another couple of weeks yet. Keith is our resident technical guru and it just so happens he's a midlander too. Laughing
