kevlar jeans

I am looking into getting some kevlar jeans.
Has anyone tried them and could give advice.

1) who makes the best jeans. ( Hood, Dragging or other)
2) which pair to buy, and how accurate are the sizes.
3) difference between woven and knitted Kevlar.
Please get back as I need to order some soon.

I've got a pair of hood 'normal' jeans and draggin cargo style ones.
I think hood do cargo style ones now?

On the draggin ones, within a couple of days use a hole had developed across a fold in one of the pockets - I'd say the hood ones seemed better quality generally to me.
They were also cheaper and will make them to measure for no extra cost I believe.

So a vote for Hood here.

Ive got a pair of hood and draggin jeans theyre both well made but the hoods are definitely thicker which is great for colder days. I recently crashed at 30mph+ in my draggins and they held up very well with just some tearing to the knees and are definitely still useable.

I definitely recommend draggins especially for the hotter days .

I have been using a pair of Draggin Jeans to commute in since the sunshine made an appearance and on all the other days that the clouds and rain are out. They are cool when needed and warm on all the other occasions.

The comfort factor makes them practical, they feel thicker than a pair of 501's but just as smooth and comfy.

I've just bought some JTS jeans, they seem very similar to Draggin ones (knitted keveler) and there isn't as much Kevler in them as the Hoods I have as well. They seem lighter and cooler than the Hoods. Did 200 miles in them today and wasn't cold though, quite nice. Didn't think much of the armour included but they have internal pockets so you can put in any knee armour, I put my knox armour in from Hoods in there for the moment.

i bought two pairs of second hand J&K jeans with kevlar reinforced bits off ebay.

One £13 for the one pair, and £26 for the other pair. They seem pretty good to me, dont look too wierd and only cost the price of some new high street jeans, so I like them.

They have pockets for armour but i've got nothing in them at the moment.
