Ok, so i'm doing up a GS500e form 1990 and i needed something to do today while i await parts.

I realised i don't actually have enough money to buy a headlight fairing, so had a go as customising the one which came with the bike...

Here's the result, i really quite like it, and it looks much nicer on the bike, the pictures dont really do it justice.

All it took was a dremal tool, sand paper, a permanent marker and some superglue Very Happy

You should be on Bluepeter or something.

Yeah it looks better than it did, but looks nasty in that colour...IMO...Good work though, keep it up! Thumbs Up

I'm going to agree with Scouse on this one. I think it looked better before you hacked away at it.

Maybe a few more pictures?

It just looks odd to be honest, maybe paint it all black?

It's a work in progress and its just on until i can afford the ducati fairing.

On the note of the colour, the entire bikes that colour, it horrible!

It's all going gloss black with a twin white stripe down the center though Thumbs Up

I might change the shape of the top of the screen to be slightly lower and follow the lines of the clocks, im not sure.
