'Custom' Headlight Fairing

Ok, so i'm doing up a GS500e form 1990 and i needed something to do today while i await parts.

I realised i don't actually have enough money to buy a headlight fairing, so had a go as customising the one which came with the bike...

Here's the result, i really quite like it, and it looks much nicer on the bike, the pictures dont really do it justice.

All it took was a dremal tool, sand paper, a permanent marker and some superglue

It's a work in progress and its just on until i can afford the ducati fairing.

On the note of the colour, the entire bikes that colour, it horrible!

It's all going gloss black with a twin white stripe down the center though

I might change the shape of the top of the screen to be slightly lower and follow the lines of the clocks, im not sure.
