Sitting behind a car at some lights this morning (to tight a gap to filter to the front) dozy driver number one decides her windscreen is too dirty so I get covered in screenwash Confused

"Thanks a bunch" thinks me.

Lights change, filter through some more lights to a dual carriageway. Halfway down, behind dozy driver number two and guess what. Yep, his windscreen is also way too dirty so he gives it an extra big squirt. "Thanks mate", thinks me again. Confused

lucky I had my visor down (both times) but still got covered in the stuff. Anyone else been shot by the washer jets?

I think it depends on what they put in it, you can put loads of things in there.

It has also happened to me and i had my visor up Embarassed

nearly made me fall off Crying or Very sad

i cant see screenwash being able to strip paint, the makers would have a few problems if anyone who used it on the car had most of the paintwork falling off, a lot of people just put washing up liquid in with some water Smile

normally isnt but occasionally I use some radiator antifreeze in it.... not great for paint work Rolling Eyes

however my washer jets are adjusted correctly! and I dont do it when bikes are around ...... as I know what its like and yep its happened to me before Rolling Eyes

i swear some people do it on purpose, its worst on the motorway

and the screenwash thing is very annoying happens all the time, i normally follow the car and give them a bollocking at the next lights, it fucks me off Evil or Very Mad

, people being so fuckin dozy, i check my mirrors every 10 secs or so, its almost automatic, why cant car drivers do the same, and have a bit of consideration for other road users this extends well beyond me gettin covered in fag ash and screen wash
