Sure if it was for half-serious race use, you wouldn't be able to ride it on the road.

Castrol TTS or any decent brand fully synthetic oil.

Don't use pre mix only oil in injector pump bikes, but you can use TTS and other injector oils as pre mix oil if you want. I use it on my MZ, my RD350 and my Gas Gas.

That's not really "very highly tuned" but Castrol Fully synth should be more than fine for it.

as well as a lot of spark plug testing a local tuning/dyno centre did a lot of oil testing.

rotax 125 motors were caned on a dyno using different 2 stroke oils.
the best oil turned out to be silkolene pro2 along with a kartline miller oil. mineral oil destroyed them to less than a 1/4 of their 30 hour lifespan.

i know it was intensive abusive testing but still, it shows there is a difference in oils.

putolene and rock oil also gave good results Thumbs Up

and no...... i dont work for any of the above companies Middle Finger

No but i know a few people who have run race tuned TDR's on the stuff with no issues...

And like i said i ran my standard TDR on in for a few months without an issue, fair enough my bike wasnt as highly strung as the mito is but id say the race tuned bikes were equally if not more stressed than the mito is.

i didnt say i tested them, i just saw the results. castrol didnt jump out at me as being near the top.
castrol is not the do all and end all of oils. they sell it in halfrauds ffs! lol

my post was for an example. if you want to save 50p a litre on a cheap oil then do it but i know which ones i would buy

Thumbs Up

regardless of a 30 hour lifespan or a 500 hour lifespan Wink
