Im so pissed off Evil or Very Mad Mad ,my bloody nsr is doing just 130kph and it should do 165kph.Right,its quite an old bike (1997) but i know of nsrs 1991 that do 160 kph.I dismantled half bike to check if there was a restrictor in the exhaust but it was fine its an italian import so i dont think there is a restrictor in the carb, and im not confident anyway to put my hands inside the bike to check.
What the hell should i do to make it go faster!!!!!!nobody knows nothing about italian imports and i need information about restrictions!!I have to beat an RS125 in the quarter mile Twisted Evil ,so i have to get the bike done in time!!!HELP..cheers

Hi

At 130kmh that is not far after the power valve should have opened. At that I would guess the power valve isnt opening. With the engine warm rev it up while looking at the power valve and check that it operates

All the best

Keith

I think with some eropean models there was a couple of wires that needed to be cut/spliced. Nos sure really and it depends a lot on the model. Have a search though here and you might find something.

I don't think full (170kph - ish) speeds were achieved though.

I managed to get 152khm out mine last night,
was very impressed.

Saying that it was in 6th bouncing of the 11'000 mark,
I thought i was still in 5th and was destroying the engine so when i changed to 6th it would be in the powerband...

only to find i was already in 6th...hmmm...
whoops
