Heya everyone,

https://www.rgv250.co.uk/rgvnorm.jpg

Whats involved with polishing things to that standard, is it just lots and lots of autosol and elbow grease, or are there special treatments that have to be used etc?

Thanks,
Cougs[/img]

Yeah I'm not thinking of doing it, it cost him 6 grand in total apparently.

Was just wondering what it took.

You can buy polishing kits from loads of places for between 20-30 quid that attach to a household drill. I used one last summer for polishing my forks on the VFR and for the exhaust pipes that connect to the end can. These kits usually contain 3 polishing mops and 3 polishing 'soaps'. They start off quite coarse and you end on a nice buff to get a nice shine. Also useful for polishing 'not for road use' stamps out of race cans. Wink
