Right,

I hate the Shinko on the 1000, its a 200width and its just pointless it doesn't heat up and is just plain shit.

I have a perfectly good 180width Pilot Power sat here. And I don't have the $180/$200 for a diablo III rear.

Now I know by fitting it to a 6 inch rim it will stretch it and flatten it slightly. But its bound to be better than the huge bastard of a Korean I have wrapped around the rear at the moment.

Seriously a 200width is over kill.

Was discussing this with Big_Ham and he said to go for it, its bound to better than the Shinko on there.

So opinions ?

Provided you kill the Shinko with a rolling burnout. Cool Laughing

People do it on other bikes all the time, it's not ideal, but it has to be better than the shinko. Thumbs Up

Dam0n has the right idea, doing a burnout will warm up the tyre first. Wink

that'll be fine though it should be a 190 but some peeps even changed there tyres too 180 on a 6inch rim because they felt it helped them steer quicker but you can make your own mind up about that.
