I'm already put off this bloke because he's tried to cash in on this and other events before, and pulled the plug days before the events were due to take place

It just pi$$es me right off when event organisers just see bike show as a cash cow

Seems to me that its his job, he's an Event Manager, I don't think its unreasonable to be paid a wage for doing it. Looks like he doesn't just do bike shows...

On the other hand, if he's been hesitant about giving folks their money back then go ahead and have at him.

Seems fair enough. Unless this guy's company has refused to pay up then I think your anger is a bit misplaced.

Rather, I'd have a pop at the police cancelling a bke show. WTF? Private events are no longer allowed unless the police agree? It should have nothing to do with them; this is a ticket only event anyhow.

"Hi police, yes I'm having a BBQ this Saturday, is that okay with you?"
