Hi

Trouble is that on an unfaired bike the headlight (with half the electrics) hang from the the forks

Assuming it is a faired bike:-

Take off fairing.
Support front of bike under engine / frame
Take off front wheel
Take out forks
Take off handlebars
Undo large nut in the muddle of the top yoke
REmove top yoke
Undo the odd shaped nut that is under the top yoke (is is used to adjust the steering head bearings)
Drop bottom yoke out (you may need to tap it out with a hammer, but only use a soft faced one)

All the best

Keith

There *isn't* a special way, if your forks are a bit bent you may need to drop them a bit to get teh top yoke off.
