If that's a spyball patriot, only the raised button works to arm/disarm the alam, the other does nothing.

I can't find the manual but from memory it says "On this model alarm the other button does nothing", so I gather the fob is common to many alarms.

Couple of things about the Spyball:

The patriot is the only Spyball model of it's era that is in category 1 for insurance purposes.

It has quite a high drain on the battery when the bike is standing, will run a good one flat in a couple of weeks so be sure to use an optimate or similar if the bike is stood-up.
