Looks really useful actually, I'm always carrying pillions and I always make them cling onto the tank since there is nowhere else to hold.

They look a bit silly though.

I don't think they look to bad so long as you colour match them to the bike...

I didn't think that BMW had that in mind when they designed that tank?

I thought that was simply to secure a helmet (which you can if you opt for that tank on the bike, there are a few different 'inserts' you can get i believe)

Notice how on the site, they have one fitted to a bike with a seat cowl? Razz

Maybe that was for the benefit of McGee's GSX-R thou project where every single accessory needed to be bolted on! Wink I guess that's debatable, but his PROJECT STEALTH will end up like the bike in question! Razz

I'm pretty sure they were intended as grab handles as well, at least. I can remember liking the idea when it first came out as I always stick my hand on the tank when pillion if possible.

Think the actual helmet bit was more of a hole in the fake tank area and wouldn't need those handles particularly like that?

Looks like it uses the fuel cap bolts, maybe with the hinging-style tank bolt?
